When we give others and ourselves the permission to influence change, we get rid of the judgment, we start building a community with better cultures, and we add more value to the table.
We’ve seen a lot of things happen when the pandemic took place. There were lockdowns all over the world, businesses had to pivot, technology was used more to communicate and there was a clamour for better leadership.
In this episode, Kiri-Maree chats with her good friend who seeks continuous improvement in both personal and professional life, Jason Pilgrim. Together, they speak about the need to have better systems and use of power.
When the pandemic occurred, we’ve seen what humans are capable of. We saw that rather than sitting down and waiting for the event to cease, humans became busy looking for solutions.
Humans are determined to go back to normal lives and this begins with making better decisions at the table. We knew that we’d be able to have a piece of normality we once had if we start making better systems, and we let the right people lead us.
We’re no longer individuals just minding our own business, we took the opportunity to work as a collective and started developing changes that will help us move forward.
Our methods may never be perfect but when we rely on our human intelligence, we strive for results that are generally good for the entire human race.
