When we give others and ourselves the permission to influence change, we get rid of the judgment, we start building a community with better cultures, and we add more value to the table.
When we look at the current situation in humanity, we can no longer hide the fact that there is a growing divide. Humans have grouped together in numerous tribes, and it seems impossible to achieve unity.
The outcome of this is we are not necessarily trained to think differently. Rather than accepting that other people will have contrasting beliefs and values from us, we exclude them and act indifferent towards them.
In this episode, Kiri-Maree has an open-forum type of conversation with six guests. They each have a take on the importance of collective actions towards achieving sustainable solutions for humanity.
The guests recognize that the continuous divide has caused isolation on both global leaders and people. If we really want to create a better world for the next generation, each individual has to take responsibility and take action.
We should start looking at people different from us as valued members of humanity’s table. We have to acknowledge that working as a collective begins with having leaders who are willing to listen more and with people fully committed to seeing a global change.
