So dive in to hear our thought provoking discussion on: - How impactful nature can be in its power for healing and transformation - The importance of empowering humans away from technology and back to reconnecting - Why time in nature can reduce feelings of loneliness and improve mood Links: You can find this episode's guests below via - christielittle.com.au wildreverence.com.au @_wildreverence_ For more information on Wild Edges Nature Retreats click here Christie Little is a registered holistic psychotherapist, grief counsellor and nature therapy guide based in the Blue Mountains, AUSTRALIA. Christie was the first nature therapy guide in NSW certified by the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy and has been offering nature based healing in various forms for the past 7 years, such as the monthly wilderness gatherings, Wild Edges, that she co-hosts with Rob Engles. She offers a trauma informed integrative approach to healing and transformation by weaving together a range of healing modalities and wisdom including nature based practices, meditation, traditional talk therapy, somatic experiences and group work. She has a lived experience of traumatic loss and has partnered with nature in her own journey of healing. Rob Engels is a registered somatic psychotherapist, ecotherapist and meditation teacher. His calling as a guide to the inner wilderness began in childhood and was forged through big, life-altering traumas that ushered him into a lifelong pilgrimage of deep self-inquiry and spiritual wandering. Drawing on a depth of experience in nature-based healing, including with Animas Valley Institute, Rob holds regular wilderness retreats for people to reconnect to a deeper sense of wholeness. He is a teacher of somatic inquiry, the healing art of inner listening, and is co-founder of the Blue Mountains Men’s Circle. His collected work falls under the banner of Wild Reverence, which is a love affair with the wild earth, a remembering of our own wildness, and a communion with the inner sacred.
