In the latest episode of the Simply Fit Podcast, I have the pleasure of speaking with Susan Peirce Thompson Susan is a neuroscientist, New York Times bestselling author, and founder and CEO of bright line eating. Susan’s start to life wasn’t easy by any means. Her exposure to drugs started at 14 years old and led her to a life of drug abuse and prostitution. After a moment of enlightenment, Susan turned her life around and has found herself sober ever since. Unfortunately one addiction turned itself into another and she then suffered with a food addiction for around 7 years, she courageously put an end to this addiction too (which she states was even harder than the drug addiction) and has committed herself to helping others do the same. In this episode you can expect to learn: How Susan overcame her drug addiction from one day to another. Why food addiction is one of, if not the hardest addiction to face. Along with what steps we can take to move towards a healthier relationship with food and breaking away from food addiction.
