Nugget: Start Every Day at Zero

Are you serving or are you attracting your clients?
If we're only serving and we're not attracting, there’s going to be gaps in our business. At a certain point in time, we’ll be overwhelmed and overloaded with current work and then when it's all done and pushed aside and they become past clients, we're going to have avoided it.
So, what you need to do is wake up every day as if you're at zero clients right now. What are you doing to build your list? What are you doing to attract the next potential client into your world?
If we don't plan ahead and do that ongoing work, then we're stuck in the short-lived moment. And even if you have the greatest successes, there’s a certain point where those people will move on, they will eventually be past clients.
When they’re gone, who will be next?
