March 26, 2021
Physical ailment. Outside voices. Money constraints. Should these things stop you from achieving your creative dreams? Listen to Amy Sinha share how she overcame tremendous challenges in her life to accomplish her goals, and her wisdom for you to do the same.
Welcome, A:R Nation!

What an energetic and inspiring conversation I have waiting for you!

On this episode of the A:R Podcast, we have Amy Sinha.

Amy has spent her career in various aspects of the music talent and performance arena.

That couldn't be all, though, could it?

Her story is one of inspiration, and almost (as Chet Holmes was quoted as saying) "pig-headed discipline."

Shortly after she was born, Amy developed cataracts, and was also diagnosed with an illness that made her unable to experience physical sensations, such as temperature and pain.

As a result of these physical challenges, Amy was always smaller than everyone around her while growing up.

Her family was into music, and Amy and her sisters were always singing, including in shows.

From these experiences, Amy discovered a love for singing.

She pursued a career in music, going to college at a music school, where she discovered a real liking of jazz.

After music school, she went on to write and perform her own music, including a single that broke the top 5 on a world music chart.

Since then, Amy has found herself doing voice over work for all types of clients, as well as interviewing musical talents on her YouTube channel.

In our conversation, Amy shares some of her insight of how she pursued her dreams in the face of physical limitations and obstacles.

She dives into why she thinks music and singing has been so impactful in her own life, and how she thinks people can use music to enrich the quality of their lives.

Finally, Amy leaves us with encouragement about pursuing the things we want for ourselves and our lives, and how we oughtn't leave anything in the tank.
