December 20, 2022
After a series of unexpected events, a fixer's journey of grief leads them to discover the power of forgiveness, and the importance of embracing the new - no matter how difficult. You will learn: 1. What do grief and forgiveness have in common? 2. What are the best and worst things to say to someone in grief? 3. What are five tips to help with grief during the holidays?
This episode is about grief and forgiveness, and how they often go hand in hand. I learned that grief is something we all deal with on a daily basis, whether it's through aging, a loss of relationships, jobs, or money. I also learned about anticipatory grief and ambiguous grief, and the ten best and ten worst things to say to someone in grief. Lastly, I learned that it's important to give yourself permission to not feel guilty and say no, as well as to ask for what you need and make sure to take care of yourself.

"Grief sucks, yet it is something we have to go through, because when we stuff our feelings, they have a way of coming back up in the most inopportune times."
