The Status Game with Mark Bradford
May 12, 2023
How do you determine how you understand yourself? How do you choose the people you are attracted to and who are your friends? There could be many different answers to those questions. My guest today is Mark Bradford and he says that the answers are based on “status”. He explains this in his Status Game, book series and we’re going to talk about his thoughts on this show. Join us, see what you think, and feel free to share your thoughts.

About Mark Bradford –

Mark Bradford is an author, speaker, podcast host, coach and builder. He invests a great deal of time and effort in researching a subject to come up with an explanation for it that everyone can understand. His podcast interviews and experiences have taught him what life’s made of, what all relationships are based on.  It is in his nature to build things that fix, augment or create a solution. The fruits of his labors have been a dating site, eight books, a pilot’s license for aerial photography, a coaching system and a card game.

The Sword and the Sunflower was Mark’s first fiction novel, set in a post-dystopian future 30 generations from now, and is a coming-of-age story. The genius of the book is a walk in a cemetery and hearing voices that resulted in a poem that became the outline of the book. The Sword and the Sunflower won Best New Author 2019 from audiobookreviewer.com

His previous book, “The Status Game II” is a manual for those who want to understand how relationships work, what they are ALL based on, and includes insights and explanations on things like self-esteem, friends vs. lovers, what settling really is, and the most powerful feeling in the world (it’s not love).  The Status Game III releases this year and is a compendium of The Status Game I & II as well as a seminar in a book that can show you three very important facets of your life (your three dashboards).  Three Voices is a quick fun read that explains that our brains use three languages to communicate with ourselves and others—and is endorsed by a clinical psychologist.

Mark Bradford writes both fiction and nonfiction.

Mark has a weekly podcast on iTunes, Google, Spotify, etc.
