Ingram Content Group is expanding its reach into the business-to-consumer market with the launch of a new online platform that will sell directly to readers. After more than 30 years, the USA Today Bestseller list is going on hiatus after the longtime editor in charge was laid off. As authors' incomes increase, they often start to focus more on writing what they want and less on writing what will sell.
