Nugget: Avoid Grooming People to Expect Free From You

Have you ever been in one of those relationships where you got friend-zoned? Well, you know what, that might be exactly what you’re doing with your audience! We see this often in the online marketing space, where people are getting free-zoned by their potential customers. What does this mean? When you put people in that free mechanism for so long, and you nurture them for so long, you’ve basically groomed them to expect free from you and never buy anything. We don’t want to be free-zoned; we want to build that relationship; we want a commitment. So just like dating, we can’t free-zone our audience. I want you to think about it, are you free-zoning your people? Or are you giving them offers that they are perfectly aligned with, and that they would love to purchase from you? So, remember, it’s okay to make more offers. Stop putting people in the free zone!
