One thing that many people are confused about is how to manage and understand our emotions. Men are supposed to suppress and hide their emotions. Supposedly women put their emotions on full display – especially depending on what “time of the month” it is, not all women, but many. Neither of these approaches are healthy. So, what should we do? Kim Korte, my guest this week, has an interesting perspective on these topics and much more. Join us for our conversation and see what you think

A Message From Kim –
I’ve been in your shoes. As an employee, I worked in small offices to large international corporations. I co-owned two small businesses and a subsequent consulting business. I faced challenges perhaps similar to yours; the stress of managing people, demanding clients, unskilled managers, business development, and the list goes on.
On the personal side, there were the life events that shaped me emotionally, including a very life-changing divorce…more to come on that topic.
I came to understand how effective emotion management (NOT control) develops resilience, improves our decision-making and how we interact in every aspect of life.
This training is different from most other emotional intelligence courses. I teach a whole-body approach to emotion management. Why? Because managing emotions is more than managing our thoughts.
