What plays in your head? All men have something going on in their head and they need to learn to control it. If you don't control the Mental Noise in your head, it will control you. Time to step up and be the owner of what's in your mind.
- We have a hard time with compliments or seeing the good in what we do because of what we have going on in our minds
- The mental noise that is always with us
- Every man struggles with the voices in his head
- We all have the battle of negative vs positive self talk
- What we want to do as men is focus our minds on a few key areas so we control the mental noise

Decide Who Gets the Microphone
- Who controls the microphone in your head? You do.
- As men we have to step up and decide what microphone we are listening to
- Who gets the power to speak into our life?
- If you don't decide you will go from voice to voice and never really figure who YOU are
- You need to build a foundation in your head and that starts with you deciding who you are and who you want to be
- Negative talk will affect you
- Negative influences will affect you
- You must take that authority as a man and work on controlling what thoughts go on in your mind
Decide What to Do With Old Recordings
- There are many other things that can live in your head
- You can have old recordings of things people said to your or did to you
- Abuse - physically, verbally, and so on
- Seeking acceptance from the "cool" kids
- Seeking affirmation from an absent father
- Seeking purpose in pleasure
- These old recordings have to be erased and replaced with a real purpose
Start Playing a New Soundtrack
- As a man, you have to decide what will play in your head
- You have to purposeful about what plays in your head
- Understand that it takes time and things won't change overnight
- You control the soundtrack in your head
- You can decide the thoughts that rule in your head
