Every Man's Fantasy Island

Fantasy island isn't just a show, but it is how too many men live. They don't look at the reality of life, they live in their own fantasy of what life should be. This is dangerous for them and keeps them from being the men they were created to be.
As men, we have to want to see the reality
We have to be careful as men that we don't get into our own head with out thinking
We have to proactively seek what is true, not what we want to be true
We do this by focusing on 3 things
TAKE AWAY JUDGEMENT
- Before you seek to look at things objectively, you have to suspend judgement
- This is especially true when we are looking at our own life and wanting to look at areas to be changed
- Reality must come without the cost of judgement
GET THE REAL DATA
- When you want to look at areas of your life, you have to look at the real data
- What is the reality in the situation?
- This does work for things like health and finances, but it can also work in relationships
SEE THE WHOLE PICTURE
- When we are going through a struggle or a busy season, it is easy to get our minds so focused on them that we miss the big picture.
- Big picture thinking is placing your life and issues in the grand scheme of life
- Our Perseverance is strengthened when we remember the the whole picture and find the most important parts of them
- This week, I want you to start looking at the reality of things without beating yourself up
- Don't seek blame seek truth
