Where are You Driving as a Man?
December 8, 2021
We are using the analogy of driving a car to look at how we as men should drive our life. No one can drive your life for you. As men, there are some key things we have to do to drive our own life and not sit back and do nothing.
Where are you driving?
In other words, where are you going with your life?
Drivers Push The Gas
- You have to push yourself, no one can do it for you
- When men expect others to push them too much, they resent it
- Motivation is a mixture of Desire & Reality
- Living life has a cost
- You are paying anyway so why not pay to go where you want to go
Drivers Steer and Direct
- You pick your direction as a man
- You aim and take direction for your life
- You take responsibility for your attitude and actions
- You seek to learn and get better
- When you have a direction and the unexpected comes up, you can reroute easier
Drivers Take Care of Their Cars
- As a whole person, you have to take care of yourself holistically: Emotionally, Mentally, Physically, Spiritually
- If you are driving your life, you have to learn how to care for yourself
- Our life as men is an adventure
- We should pick a direction in life but we may not know where we end up
- You have to make sure you are at your best for the journey
