If you prefer your genitals as your avatar or your butthole, well, on the sites that allow that, do it! Just remember that just because you can does not mean you should.
So, I told someone yesterday that I had zero interest in them because reasons, and they came back at me.
I pointed out that they were nowhere near me, that I'm not really looking right now, that I'm not into online or long distance, and that, frankly, it's impossible for me to imagine really having an interest in owning someone who used a bent-over butthole picture as their avatar.
It's a disqualifier for me.
