About Winifred A. Winston
Winifred A. Winston is a bestselling author, passionate advocate, and enthusiastic speaker. After working for a public school district, serving as an administrator of a special education school and going through the special education process with her daughter, Winifred quickly realized Black and underrepresented minorities lacked accurate information about dyslexia interventions and instructional strategies.
Not wanting another parent to experience the challenges she faced, she founded Dyslexia Advocation, Inc., a 501c3 charitable organization to make remediation affordable and provide access to a network of providers.
