A person of many talents and interests, Dave is a life-long learner. This makes him a relatable resource across a wide variety of industries, and organizations of varying sizes. He is equally comfortable on a heavy industrial site, in a high-end retail store, or at an academic institution. While OH&S might be the industry he’s in, Dave approaches every endeavour as someone who truly cares about people and what’s best for them. In addition to his 25+ years of experience, Dave is a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP), holds an Occupational Health and Safety Certificate from the University of Alberta, and is a Registered Emergency Medical Responder. He also has a long history of volunteerism and board experience, including his current work with the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering and the Northern Alberta Institute of Technologies Occupational Health and Safety Diploma Program.
