AC/DC, formed in Sydney in 1973 by brothers Malcolm and Angus Young, is a legendary Australian rock band. Their high-energy, guitar-driven hard rock music has made them one of the most popular and influential bands in the history of rock music. With over 17 studio albums and more than 200 million records sold worldwide, AC/DC is known for hit songs such as "Highway to Hell," "Back in Black," "Thunderstruck," and "You Shook Me All Night Long." Although the band has undergone several lineup changes over the years, their signature sound and style have remained consistent. AC/DC has faced challenges, such as the tragic death of lead singer Bon Scott in 1980 and the departure of longtime lead vocalist Brian Johnson in 2016 due to hearing problems. Nevertheless, AC/DC has continued to tour and produce music, cementing their status as an iconic and beloved band in the world of rock music.
