Kristi Mohn has helped build the world’s largest gravel race, Unbound Gravel (formerly DK). The event, which has grown from 34 participants in 2006 to more than 4,000 in 2022, helped revive the local economy and has established Emporia, Kansas as a top gravel cycling destination.

She joined the UNBOUND Gravel team early on and worked hard to get more women at gravel start lines ever since. Her main passion in the cycling space has been all about more inclusive start lines, and collaborating and brainstorming ways to make that happen.
