95. MATTHEW ALEXANDER: He doesn't let his AUTISM stop him from sharing his Enthusiasm for Spinning.
In this episode, you will learn: Meet Matthew Alexander. He may be autistic, but that does not stop him from bringing his passion and enthusiasm to his SPINNING & ZUMBA Classes. Join him for his ONLINE Sessions.
Bio: Since January of 2019, Matthew Alexander has been providing quality fitness instruction for everyone! When he was teaching fitness, he noticed that there wasn't an awareness of any learning, developmental, or emotional disabilities.
Matthew preaches equality for everyone in fitness no matter their shape, size, background, and ability. Matthew will not stop until he gets there!
So, Matthew decided to change that. In April of 2019, Matthew was mentioned in an article with Maddogg Athletics, and has not stopped advocating ever since! He has been mentioned in Maddogg Athletics, Struct Club, Long Island Herald, and Instructor.
In Matthew's classes, you can expect a high-intensity workout that is fun (and a little inspirational) at the same time! As Matthew says at the beginning of every indoor cycling class "are you ready to ride?"
Matthew's certifications include, but not limited to, L2 Spinning(R) instructor, Schwinn MPower instructor, Group Exercise Instructor with the International Sports and Science Association (ISSA-CGFI), and a Zumba instructor.
Also, he has written training for Maddogg Athletics where Spinning(R) instructors can obtain CEC's. Along with that, he has appeared in the podcasts Health and Fitness Redefined, Bucks County Bytes, and did a story with News 12 in the Brooklyn and Bronx.
