Pros & Cons of a Dedicated Recruiter vs the Team Model

Today we’re going to be talking about the pros and cons of using an agency with dedicated recruiters vs those that prefer the ’no recruiter’ team approach. These two business models touch all types of travelers - Travel Nurses, Travel Therapists & Travel Allied Health travelers. We'll lay out the benefits and potential challenges to both options so you can decide what’s best for you.
Our guest today is Jeremy Commisso, the CEO & Founder of Nurse First Travel who helps to touch on the points on both sides.
Jeremy also gives some important tips for travelers when submitting to a position:
- Have all your important points (ie specific days off, schedule requests etc) ready to go for the initial submission. It's much harder to add it in later. Reduce the amount of back-and-forth questions to make it easy for the managers to choose YOU for the assignment
- Be organized with documents - turn in anything that might be of need during the assignment so nothing holds up the submission
