We've all seen the bumper stickers.
"God Bless Our Troops... Especially Our Snipers!"
Thanking veterans for their service makes people feel good.
It makes them feel like they have pride and reverence for our sacrifices.
But...
In this this week's podcast episode, I get real for Veteran's Day... and talk about why, for those of us who have fought in combat, the "thanks" has a whole other meaning that is very different from the "movie version" of what war is really like.
