In this episode, Jason speaks with Steven Wright, the Director of TrustLayer+. Steven brings an insider’s eye to the TrustLayer team. He most recently worked in commercial property and casualty insurance at Lockton, one of the largest privately owned brokerage in the world. Steven partnered with TrustLayer as an industry consultant in 2019, then joined full-time in 2020, driven to build out TrustLayer as a vehicle for change and transparency in the insurance industry.

Together, Jason and Steven discuss whether the insurance industry is too slow in adopting technology, the relationship between risk appetite and businesses, and the importance of contractual risk transfer.
