There is a big difference in how you maintain and manage your weight in your 20’s and 30’s, compared to your 40’s. Even if you're an active person all your life, losing weight after 40 can feel like an uphill battle.

When you are younger, you can eat whatever you want but still manage to fit in your favorite jeans, after a weekend of binge eating. There are stark differences in the way you consume and enjoy food as you age. Also in the way your body digest and breaks it down - by running, walking, and exercise. (Evident in that muffin top over your yoga pants!)

Body metabolism and hormones all change as you age, so the weight-loss methods of the past may not be as effective as you are now in your 40’s.
