Nikki is the living embodiment where passion meets profession—born and raised in an agricultural farming family and landing a job in fortune 500 advertising right after college took her places. Amid this successful lifestyle, she realized the need to mitigate the impact of climate change and embarked upon the path of conservation and mindfulness. Apart from being a firm believer in visualization, she helps connect people with nature through meditation in a more science-based way. Today, Nikki talks about the biggest challenges in glamping and creative ways to make land profitable and conservative at the same time. Nikki started working for climate change awareness with Live Earth/Al Gore and turned to meditation and mindfulness, studying from every teacher she could in Los Angeles, from UCLA to InsightLA, and Against the Stream, etc., which led her to a position at Headspace (meditation app) and to the creation of the website; www.glad.is. Founder of Glad.is, Co-founder at Tobacco River Ranch Glamping and Director of Development Glacier National Park Conservancy.
