[00:00:08.870] - Candi Broeffle, Host
Good morning and welcome to Green Tea Conversations, the radio show that delves into the pages of Natural Awakenings magazine to bring you the local experts who share their progressive ideas and the latest information and insights needed so you can and lead your best life. I'm your host, Candi Broeffle, publisher of the Twin Cities edition of Natural Awakenings magazine. And I am honored to bring these experts to you. Today we are welcoming back. Master Hong Kim, the owner of Body and Brain Yoga in Minnetonka. Thank you for being with us today, Master Hong!

[00:00:40.010] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
Thank you for having me here.

[00:00:41.990]
We are so glad to have you back. The last time you were here, I wanted to continue talking to you for hours and of course, we don't have that much time. So I'm really happy that we could have you back and on the show again today. I want to remind people that at your center you provide a modernized system of holistic healing and mind body practices that are based in ancient Korean training techniques. Your classes and programs focused on yoga, Tai Chi, meditation, martial arts and energy healing at all levels.

[00:01:14.090]
I was really happy to have you back on the show today because November is our brain health issue. And at the center, you really focus on connecting the mind, body, and spirit and everything that you do. So the last time you were here, we were talking about that was back in January, and we were talking about all the differences that have happened to your business, what you were seeing with your members and in the community that 2020 brought on. And there was a lot that was happening back then.

[00:01:46.250]
And so I'm curious as to now that we're in the last quarter of 2021, what you are seeing is kind of the differences 2021 has brought compared to 2020.

[00:01:59.690] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
So more members are coming to the studio, but still many members reluctant to compare and they still enjoy online classes. But more people are attending online classes. So it is good and problem continues. People will become numb, same thing our body, when we have pain, when our pain continues, we become numb. So we don't take it serious. The same thing when same problems continue in the society. In the beginning, people are very alert. The later they start forgetting and then they become numb like that. So people don't become mindful, not too much cautious.

[00:02:51.170]
But we need to be mindful. If you don't become mindful. Sometimes we become too much cautious. Sometimes we are not cautious at all. So both will cause issues 2020. People were very afraid, not mindful. They were so afraid. People are going two ways become too cautious and resistance. They're not cautious at all like that. So those will bring problems.

[00:03:23.570] - Candi Broeffle, Host
So let's talk about that a minute. So when you're not mindful and when you're in and you're really talking about two different perspectives or two different spectrums at the end of each spectrum. So when we're not mindful, we can be very, very fearful. Overly cautious. Cautious is good, but overly cautious. Not so much. What can happen to ourselves if we are living in that state of being overly cautious or overly fearful.

[00:03:57.930] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
When we are cautious, that means we are anxious. Our body become tense. So we are not happy. So it will cause blockage in the body. For instance, it's hard to find a home and things like that. So we will see things like negatively. We don't meet each other. Not at all. So relationship and make too much like a contraction like this. So either black energy flow and blood energy flow. So they caused many issues in the body or in the society.

[00:04:37.470] - Candi Broeffle, Host
And that makes a lot of sense when you're talking about that, because when you're fearful, you're actually doing that right, you're contracting, you're holding yourself in, you're being overly cautious, you're trying to protect yourself. And so we do that ourselves causing that constriction like you said, and that causes blockages in the body. But then we also do that as a community.

[00:04:59.910] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
Right.

[00:05:00.810] - Candi Broeffle, Host
And so what about on the other end of the spectrum when people are not cautious, when they become resistant to whatever is happening, whatever is being asked of them to do or they want to maybe just feel like this really isn't happening right now.

[00:05:18.270] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
So trying to fight against the lion is not a courage. We need to be afraid of lion. So people think trying to fight against the lion in case the courage.

[00:05:32.490] - Candi Broeffle, Host
Is not going to work out well.

[00:05:34.050] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
Right. We need to know where we are. So like a virus is something that we need to be careful. We need to be cautious. Right. So we need to think of the whole not only me. So when I took vaccination, some of members were like, what you took vaccination. You are so healthy. And why did you take vaccination? So members ask me like that, even though I'm healthy, maybe I'm not getting any problem with the virus, but suddenly shows that some people don't have a symptom even though they get virus.

[00:06:17.370]
So just in case, if I'm not vaccinated, I get virus CoVid. And then I meet people. So I will transfer this to other people. So think about other people. I got vaccination. So people think, oh, I'm strong. I'm 20. I'm 30. So I'm okay. Not like that. So we need to see the big picture. Not only me, I'm living in the society. So it's like cancer cell.  Cancer cell is working really hard, but it will kill whole system in our body. So we need to cooperate with all other cells as individuals.

[00:07:02.130]
We are living in the society, society's, health and my health. Both are important for me. The whole house is first price wise first, and then my hers.

[00:07:17.550] - Candi Broeffle, Host
Yes. So you look at it as a whole. This is truly a holistic approach. It isn't just about you and feeling like I'll be okay. But what you can do in that holistic approach.

[00:07:32.034] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
Right.

[00:07:33.630] - Candi Broeffle, Host
What else happens if one of the things that we talked about is you said the fighting. So there's almost like two things happening. If people are extremely fearful, that almost shuts them off. And if people are extremely resistant and they're fighting everything, how does that affect their health?

[00:07:53.610] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
So the other thing is when you drive a car sometimes let's say you break the signal. You drive through the red light once you pass. So you didn't get any car accident, then you want to expect I will be okay. You want to break. You're not going to obey the signal or something like that. Once, twice and you keep expecting luck. Then later you will have a car accident. So like that I'm healthy. So when you are exposed to like, oh, I'm here. So you don't wear enough clothing when it's cold.

[00:08:41.190]
You may have had a chance to get catch cold like that, but this is a personal thing. But virus is something different. When you get virus, you want to transfer this to other people, especially like a Covid. So for others, you need to be mindful. And also it's related to another thing. Pride.

[00:09:07.230] - Candi Broeffle, Host
How so?

[00:09:08.490] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
I'm healthy. I have a high pride on my head so it will create problems. You want to demand same thing to others. You have to force them to other people to do the same thing. So the pride is not positive and it's wise. It's negative. So you keep influencing other people's negative way. Pride also block. When you are pride, your head goes up.

[00:09:43.810] - Candi Broeffle, Host
Your shoulders, go back, chest goes up.

[00:09:50.950] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
It will also block our energy system.

[00:09:53.350] - Candi Broeffle, Host
The pridefulness.

[00:09:54.910] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
Yes.

[00:09:55.810] - Candi Broeffle, Host
Well, very good. So we talked about some of the physical things that can happen. The blockages, that kind of thing that can happen when we are careful. What are some of the physical things that can happen to us can happen to our mind or our brain when it comes to the resistance. When it comes to fighting against.

[00:10:15.790] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
So resistance. Also, you become stuck resistance. Some this is pushing. So when there's no resistance, you don't feel pressure. But when you reduce are using lots of energy, you will get tired. But people don't notice that. So with the mind, we are resisting a lot. So that means you keep using energy. So those people will get tired when you have resistance. So emotional resistance and spiritual resistance. So things are like wave comes right. You need to ride the wave when we try to against what happens, you won't hurt.

[00:11:02.050] - Candi Broeffle, Host
Yes. You're not going to make it against the wave eventually.

[00:11:06.190] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
Yeah. When changes happen, we need to write the change the floor. So many people don't like the change. So resistance comes so they want to suffer. So they want to suffer. But they don't know.

[00:11:24.430] - Candi Broeffle, Host
It's interesting. There's a really great saying that I always love and it is pain is inevitable. Suffering is optional.

[00:11:32.950] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
Right.

[00:11:34.030] - Candi Broeffle, Host
Well, we're going to have to go into a break right now, but for people who want to learn more about what Master Hong does and to register for classes, you can visit BodyNBrain.com/Minnetonka.  That's Body the letter n brain.com/Minnetonka or you can call (952) 513-7285. [00:12:12.170]
Welcome back to Green Tea Conversations, where we delve into the pages of Natural Awakenings magazine and talk to the professionals to share their expertise on natural health with you.

[00:12:21.890]
I'm your host, Candi Broeffle, and today we're talking with Master Hong Kim, the owner of Body and Brain Yoga in Minnetonka. Master Hong. Just before the break, we were starting to talk about some of the effects that we are seeing or that you have seen as a result of all the stress that we've been under in 2020 and 2021 and November is, as I said, Natural Awakenings Brain Health Month. One of the reasons that I was so excited to have you come back onto the show is because you really talk about the balance of our mind, body, and spirit in the work that you do before we get started with that.

[00:13:02.450]
Maybe you can help us to kind of understand. I think sometimes people tend to miss some of the signs of things that we could be looking for when it comes to our brain health and especially when things are so chaotic around us as well. So when you're talking about people coming to see you, what are some of the main symptoms that we can all be aware of when it comes to how our mind is working, how our brain is working.

[00:13:33.410] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
First thing that you can notice is saliva. Drive enough saliva. So babies have lots of saliva. You want to notice when you are stressed a lot. You don't have much life in your mouth. Yeah.

[00:13:50.330] - Candi Broeffle, Host
Your mouth gets dry.

[00:13:52.070] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
Yeah. So you cannot see things clearly. Your eyes becomes heavy, not clear, your nose becomes dry, your mouth becomes dry, cannot hear things well.

[00:14:04.130] - Candi Broeffle, Host
Is that why our husbands don't pay attention to us when we're talking to them?

[00:14:12.510] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
When you have low energy, when you have low energy, you cannot hear well, also, mentally, your blood. I don't like to hear something. If this becomes really serious, you become deaf. There are so many things you don't like to hear. You mentally, you block physically. It will happen like that. That is a serious case, but simply when you are stressed out, you have a hard time with the digestion, saliva, eyes and all of things. And also you will have issues with the digestion.

[00:14:51.390] - Candi Broeffle, Host
Can I just say one thing? I'm just thinking about this and it's so interesting to me what you're saying, but it really is true. Whatever is emotionally happening to us, we will physically manifest.

[00:15:04.590] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
Right.

[00:15:05.430] - Candi Broeffle, Host
So if there's something stressing us in our lives that we don't want to see, what you're saying is the stress actually causes our eyes to dry up, makes it hard for us to see. And it can actually in a very difficult case, long term case could actually cause vision problems all the way to blindness. Right. And hearing, too.

[00:15:28.410] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
Right.

[00:15:29.850] - Candi Broeffle, Host
And so if you think about that, you're speaking, whatever you speak, whatever you don't want to hear, whatever you don't want to say, whatever you don't want to see. Those are all part of that senses. Right. We do that all the time. When we're under stress, there are certain things we don't want to do, and we do that on a smaller level. But over time, how can it affect us?

[00:15:50.490] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
Right. So that's why when we accumulate stress over time, we create disease. As you may know, disease in the body, disease is in my mind. So mind decrease all the problems. Almost 80% of problems are created by our mind. That's why without taking care of mind, it's hard to heal our body.

[00:16:17.790] - Candi Broeffle, Host
That's a lot.

[00:16:21.490] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
Because brain health is really key to our holistic health.

[00:16:29.470] - Candi Broeffle, Host
So you have said some of the symptoms to look for are dryness, so dryness of the eyes, the ears, the mouth, the nose, having difficulty seeing, hearing, tasting even. And then digestive issues was another thing. And digestive issues. What are some things we want to look for with that?

[00:16:51.370] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
Of course, when you eat food, that doesn't go well with you. Also, you will have digestion issues and another digestion issue. When you receive information, you cannot digest information, then you also have stomach issues when you experience lots of anger. Also, you have issues in your liver, not only from the food. So anger is like toxic energy. So liver will be affected like that.

[00:17:27.250] - Candi Broeffle, Host
And it's really difficult to be able to self-assess how much anger you have a lot of the time people don't realize that they are carrying so much anger.

[00:17:38.230] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
Right. So it's really hard for people to notice.

[00:17:43.150]
Like. Nose and saliva when people notice the problem. When they have insomnia continues, headaches and migraines, and severe stomach issues. And then they start noticing. And then they start having concern. So they're not mindful. So because they used to be sick, they used to have a problem. They consider it is like a normal.

[00:18:16.550] - Candi Broeffle, Host
Yes. And again, that is something we all do. Sometimes it comes on so slowly, sometimes it comes on so mildly and it just gets worse and worse that you don't realize how bad you feel. Until you feel so bad, you have to do something about it. And a lot of the times, what you're saying is this is all connected to our emotions.

[00:18:42.110] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
Right. So if you don't stop, your body will make you stop through disease. They say I don't have time to take care of my body. I'm so busy then later, when you get sick, you cannot say I don't have time.

[00:18:58.850] - Candi Broeffle, Host
Right. Then you have to actually take the time to do it. It has been a lesson of 2020- 2021 is that if you have not taken the time to actually take care of these issues, then it was really never about time to begin with.

[00:19:19.110] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
So for me, it's no different taking care of myself. The 2020 and 2021. Not different, but people learn how to take care of themselves. Like I said, because of Covid people were forced to stay home. It's a totally different situation. Right? So at that time, how can I take care of my head before they went out for dinner and party and going to first game to release all these things. But they were supposed to stay home, so they need to take out themselves so they need to not be dependent on doctors.

[00:20:03.070]
They need to learn how to take care of themselves.

[00:20:06.610] - Candi Broeffle, Host
And that's what you tell people to do when they come into the center.

[00:20:11.830] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
Right?

[00:20:13.270] - Candi Broeffle, Host
So Master Hong, we have to go into a commercial right now. So for people who want to learn more about what Master Hong does and to register for classes, you can visit BodyNBrain.com/Minnetonka. And again, that's body the letter n brain.com/Minnetonka or you can call (952) 513-7285 to read the online version of Natural Awakenings magazine, visit NaturalTwinCities.com. You can find a podcast of the show on AM950Radio.com, on Apple and Google podcast, and anywhere you get your podcast, you're listening to Green Tea Conversations on Am 950, the Progressive Voice of Minnesota. And we will be right back.

[00:21:15.170]
Welcome back to Green Tea Conversations, where we need professionals straight from the pages of Natural Awakenings magazine who share their expertise on natural health with you. I'm your host, Candi Broeffle, and today we're talking with Master Hong Kim, the owner of Body and Brain Yoga in Minnetonka. So Master Hong just before the break, you were helping us to understand some of the things that can cause disease within our body, which is caused by the emotional body and not maybe taking care of issues that we have there.

[00:21:47.570]
And I just wanted to share with you. When I was much younger in my early 20s, I was holding on to a lot of anger. I didn't realize it at the time. So when I said earlier, a lot of the times, we don't realize we're holding on to anger. I thought I was taking care of things and not really holding on to a lot of that. But there were things that were happening to me that were very odd. Like I stubbed my toe and broke my small toe.

[00:22:15.890]
I would have bumps and bruises on different parts of my body ways that I was hurting myself. There was a book back at that time. It's still around that I used to love by Louise Hay called Heal Your Life. And in that she has all the different symptoms of things that can happen to you and what it means emotionally. And every time something would happen to me, whether it would be a tooth problem or a broken toe or a bruise somewhere, everything would come back to I was holding on to resentment.

[00:22:53.270]
I better take care of this because this seems to be an issue for me. And it's funny because most people would have said even back then that they didn't see me as being an angry person or as hanging on to resentment. But resentment is an anger, but it's held within more than it is exhibited outward. But it can also cause all the issues that you were previously talking about.

[00:23:21.890] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
Yes. Right.

[00:23:24.650]
So we are holding last emotions, but we are very good at pretending. So we are covering ourselves. We are wearing masks. So we have different kinds of face. When we are by ourselves, we have a kind of face and we have a social face. So when we see people, we start like smiling. But inside, actually, there's lots of suppressed emotions, like anger, sadness and resentment and disappointments and frustration like that. Yes. So then when you're angry, actually, you're not comfortable when you're angry, what happens? Temperature goes up in your head and your adult temperature goes down.

[00:24:23.090]
So I talk about happy cow. So for us to become healthy and happy and peaceful, temperature in our brain should be cool. So we say cool head and open heart and warm element. So cool head C open heart. O. Warm abdomen W we say happy cow.

[00:24:50.810] - Candi Broeffle, Host
Happy cow.

[00:24:51.950] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
Yeah. So when we become happy cow. Cold head, Open heart and W warm abdomen, we will be compelling and happy and peaceful. That's naturally happens. But when we are experiencing emotions, negative emotions, it blocks our heart. So actually our heart is producing like a fire energy. Our kidney is producing water energy. So fire energy needs to go down to warm up our abdomen and water energy needs to go up to cool our head. So our brain is working well. But when you become emotional, your head, your brain becomes warm.

[00:25:37.070]
You cannot think. Right. See more like more emotional.

[00:25:42.230] - Candi Broeffle, Host
Yes.

[00:25:43.070] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
So you are reacting strongly. So it will cause so many issues in the body and also in your relationship.

[00:25:54.410] - Candi Broeffle, Host
That's why they say when people are really angry, they're hot-headed.

[00:25:58.730] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
Right. So that means your estimate temperatures will go down. So when you're angry, it's hard to eat. It's hard to digest because anger is related to your liver. Liver energy is attacking your stomach energy. So that's why when you're angry, you lose your appetite. When you eat, you cannot digest well. So you have a stomach issue. Stomach problem. Digestion issue when you are angry like that. So we need to recover. Happy cow state. The same thing is happening in nature. So heat from the sun is coming down and water is evaporating. When this is not happening properly, we will have natural disaster same thing in our body.

[00:27:05.650]
Waters need to go up. Fire need to go down. Most people reverse.

[00:27:12.910] - Candi Broeffle, Host
That's. Interesting. So when we aren't having that natural flow in nature, when the sun isn't warming the Earth and the water isn't evaporating and going back up, when that balance becomes imbalanced, then it can cause a natural disaster.

[00:27:32.170] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
Right.

[00:27:32.950] - Candi Broeffle, Host
And so we cause our own natural disasters within our bodies when we don't have that balance happen as well.

[00:27:41.650] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
Right.

[00:27:43.450] - Candi Broeffle, Host
So what are some of the things that we can do to help us get in balance?

[00:27:50.110] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
The first thing is tapping your chest because you need to open your heart, tapping chest and then make a sound like a aaaaaaaa like this. So there's a very important occupation point. Acupuncture points are doors, so not the expression. The door will be open. So while you are tapping into focus and then either you can use your fingertips or you can use fist like this. And if you make a sound, aaaaaaa sound is good for your heart. But the thing is, you need to do long enough. In the beginning, you don't feel much as you keep going.

[00:28:49.830] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
You start feeling blockages. If your blockage here where you are tapping, even tap like this, people feel lots of pain. The more pain people feel here, that means the more block is here.

[00:29:09.330] - Candi Broeffle, Host
And so what you're doing is you're tapping right on the breastbone, basically. And so you're just tapping right in the middle of your chest and you're saying tap it for a very long time. If when you start doing this, it hurts. That means there's a lot of blockage.

[00:29:27.210] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
Yeah. If you don't feel any pain, you don't need to do.

[00:29:31.350] - Candi Broeffle, Host
Okay.

[00:29:32.190] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
If you feel pain, that means you need to do more longer.

[00:29:37.710] - Candi Broeffle, Host
And what does making the sound help you to do?

[00:29:44.470] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
Energy consists of light, sound, and vibration. So sound. When you tap vibration and sound, usually there are three layers of your brain, neocortex, limbic system and brainstem. So neocortex is thinking brain and limbic system is emotional. Brain and brainstem is life brain. So when you make life, brain is related to vibrational air, and the limbic system is related to sound, and your new cortex will be affected by light.

[00:30:38.350] - Candi Broeffle, Host
Okay.

[00:30:38.650] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
So that's why when you make a sound, you will work on your more limbic system, which is related to emotion.

[00:30:48.850] - Candi Broeffle, Host
So if you're holding emotion, if you're suppressing emotion or you're holding it in, that helps to release it as well, I would imagine.

[00:30:56.350] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
Yes, with the vibration through tapping and sound aaaaaa. If you cannot make a sound, you can simply interview focus and feelings here. When you have like this, about five minutes and many things start coming out, you may tear.

[00:31:25.110] - Candi Broeffle, Host
You may start crying.

[00:31:26.610] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
Yes, right there. So this is the first thing this one is called brainwave vibration.

[00:31:34.890] - Candi Broeffle, Host
May I just interrupt you a minute? I want to share with you. The last time you were here, you were telling us about the tapping. And I have used it numerous times with my clients in the adult foster care, when they become very stressed or their blood pressure has gone up, they're in distress, even in the emergency room. I've done it, and I've actually had a doctor ask me what I was doing, why I was doing that. And I had told them what you had taught us, and they were like, well, whatever it is, it's working.

This blood pressure has dropped so much. So it is, and they tend to connect with it very much. When you do it right.

[00:32:21.070] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
People are doing this when they have too much blocking, they tell aaaaa. Nobody taught. But when there's too much block, they do this aaaaaa. First of all, they are shouting, they release pressure like that. But you need to continuously for a certain period of time when you have too much blockage, your body knows what to do and shout out and like that.

[00:33:00.130] - Candi Broeffle, Host
Yes.

[00:33:02.230] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
Not to go bad condition. If you do this every day before you go to bed to release all the stress you receive.

[00:33:14.470] - Candi Broeffle, Host
So you're saying five minutes at the end of the day before you go to bed.

[00:33:19.210] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
Five minutes to 15 minutes?

[00:33:23.470] - Candi Broeffle, Host
Well, that is a great tip for us. When we come back, we're going to talk about more of that as well. I did want to mention one other thing about that. Babies do that naturally, and they make this sound. They think it's funny, right? Because they're tapping or you're tapping them and they go, but isn't that interesting that a baby automatically knows that, too. All right. [00:34:45.870]
Welcome back to Green Tea Conversations Station. I'm your host, Candi Broeffle, and today we're talking with Master Hong Kim, of Body and Brain Yoga in Minnetonka. So just before the break, you were helping us to understand some things that we can do in order to help to create balance in our body.

[00:35:04.590]
And the first thing that you were talking about is opening our hearts through tapping. Are there other areas we hear of tapping a lot. Actually, people talk about tapping as far as for releasing stress and that type of thing. What are other ways that we can use tapping?

[00:35:22.230] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
So first, we need to understand the principles. What happens when you tap? When you tap to heal your body, you need to bring your mind to the body. That means you need to focus long enough. So when you take your acupressure point, and then it will open up. Like I said in the beginning, acupressure points are doors, energy doors. So you can think you are knocking. Somebody will come and open the door like that. So when you keep taking certain points, energy will gather there. When energy gathers, healing happens naturally.

[00:36:06.450]
So to heal your body, you need to bring focus into your body, or you can focus on specific point in the body. So when you block it in your chest, you can tap your chest. So any part you can tap like this, but long enough when you tap two field discomfort, that is the best. Don't love yourself too much. When you feel discomfort, little bit of discomfort. You can focus easily. Then energy goes more energy gathers there, so healing will happen. Third Chakra, too.

[00:36:49.370]
Like this, many people are blockers here.

[00:36:52.970] - Candi Broeffle, Host
And tell people what the third Chakra is.

[00:36:55.910] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
So third Chakra is the middle point between the Dhian of Stanam and your belly button. It's called Joan acupressure point. Of course Chakra is inside. But by tapping like when you enter the house, you ring the Bell right from the door. So the Joan acupressure point is like a door to your third Chakra. So the middle point between your dinner and the belly button.

[00:37:25.970] - Candi Broeffle, Host
Okay

[00:37:26.750] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
Like that. Now what I'm going to talk about is brainwave vibration. So this will have to recover happy cow first. Like, I recommend it. Open your chest first and then do this brain wave vibration. The first thing is you want to move your head side to side. You don't need to hurry. So when you move your head side to side due to release tensions, some of you will hear sound a lot backing sound and popping sound like that. That means your neck is loosening up. So why this is so important?

[00:38:04.970]
Because your first service connected to your brainstem, which takes care of natural healing power, seem to keep stimulating your brainstem. So while you are moving your hand side to side inert your nose and except your mouth continuously to release pressure from your brain means release stress. So you can also release lots of thoughts. So we call this your first survey camera is called the Freedom Point. Next one, PowerPoint. PowerPoint is located two inches below your belly button. We call this tangent tapping to make a fist. Gently you to tap your pinches below your belly button.

[00:39:09.150]
You keep generating energy. Your dungeon is like a power plant. Okay, so you tab you to discharge negative energy and then also charge you to create energy. So PowerPoint keep creating energy in your lower energy center. Then move your head. So keep releasing your thoughts to recover full open one I recommend for beginners. Try to do when you tap like this, about 15 minutes you become really calm and you feel energized. You can try this anytime when you feel tired, when you have rushing thoughts. When you become emotional, anytime you can do this.

[00:40:02.190] - Candi Broeffle, Host
That is such a great technique in order to share with people. So I just want to touch this very quickly before we move on. So tapping on your chest in the middle of your chest, on your breath for up to 15 minutes, at least five,

[00:40:16.650] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
five to 15 minutes,

[00:40:18.270] - Candi Broeffle, Host
five to 15 minutes. And then once you have done that and during that, you're making sound correct, you're allowing sound to come out of your mouth. And then after that, you're going to start turning your head side to side and breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth while doing the dungeon tapping two inches below your belly button with your fists.

[00:40:42.390]
So you're using more of a fist instead of your fingers like you did on your chest. And for that, you should also do that about 15 minutes.

[00:40:51.510] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
Five to 15 minutes.

[00:40:53.010] - Candi Broeffle, Host
Okay. Five to 15 minutes. So maybe starting out, look at five. But as you do, it more and more to be able to add more time to it. And this will help to create the happy cow. So we have a cool head, an open heart, and a warm belly.

[00:41:09.990] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
Right.

[00:41:10.650] - Candi Broeffle, Host
Well, Master Hong, that is very helpful to us. Share with us why that's so important for our brain health?

[00:41:18.450] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
Because our brain is working well, when it's cool, it's like a computer. Computer is overheating you cannot use computer. You know that 100,000 brain cells are dying every day in our brain. When your temperature goes up in your brain, more cells are dying, more cells will die. So when you receive stress, more cells will die. Why? Because temperature goes up in your brain. So make your brain cool is really important for your head.

[00:41:56.730] - Candi Broeffle, Host
And so that exercise will help to keep that balance will help to keep the cool, the warm moving throughout your body.

[00:42:03.930] - Master Hong Kim, Guest
Right.

[00:42:04.650] - Candi Broeffle, Host
