Ana Wilkinson - the Dancing Nurse - shares her experiences with Medical Missions and what's it's like to join one.
She started with a mission in Nepal during a riot (and while on her honeymoon), helping out at a school and an orphanage.
Ana then experienced Haiti after the earthquake with Project Medishare and worked in a 2 seat ER, followed by the Dominican Republic the next year. Her latest mission was in Morocco on her own which was a huge cultural change.
