“Peace is not just absence of conflict but the harmony between God and people.” In the second week of Advent, Robert dives into the idea of peace, and how the peace that came into the world with Jesus is radically different than the ways we think of peace as a society. A reality that only comes through through violence, power, and sacrifice, Robert walks through the angel’s message to Mary, and asks us to consider what it would look like for us to commit to the work of kingdom peace–shalom– in our communities.
