3 Tips to Relieve Stress and Anxiety at Work

If you're struggling with stress and anxiety at work, know that you're not alone. According to the American Psychological Association, workplace stress is on the rise, with nearly one-quarter of adults reporting that their job is very or extremely stressful. If your job is causing you undue stress and anxiety, there are a few things you can do to help relieve some of that pressure. Tune in as I share my 3 go to tips!
If you're struggling with stress and anxiety at work, know that you're not alone. According to the American Psychological Association, workplace stress is on the rise, with nearly one-quarter of adults reporting that their job is very or extremely stressful. 

·       The American Psychological Association 2021 Work and Well-Being Survey

·       Nearly 6 in 10 (59%) reported experiencing negative impacts of work-related stress.

·       Employers are paying more attention!

·       Long-term = Heart Disease, High Blood Pressure and Stroke, Depression, and more!

If your job is causing you undue stress and anxiety, there are a few things you can do to help relieve some of that pressure.

1. Introduce a healthy morning routine

One way to reduce stress and anxiety at work is to introduce a healthy morning routine. This is whatever it means to you. Options?

·       Meditate

·       Exercise

·       Get outside

·       Find water

·       Set an intention

2. What do you want instead?

Another way to help relieve stress and anxiety at work is to focus on what you want instead.

·       Worry – what do you want instead?

·       Won’t get the job

·       Made a mistake

·       Making a presentation

·       Interviewing

3. Release what doesn't serve you 

Finally, one of the best ways to reduce stress and anxiety at work is to release what doesn't serve you. This could mean anything from 

·       letting go of unrealistic expectations, 

·       forgiving yourself for past mistakes, 

·       and actual mental and emotional release work.
