Start off small and if you're just beginning gardening, a container garden is one of the perfect ways to get into gardening. 

Even if you've been doing it like I have for years, you know it's fun to be able to grow things in containers. The nutrients in the soil are only absorbed by the plants. Once it's watered, it doesn't have any more nutrients. That's why, when you're growing your vegetables, you have to water them every day for them to grow.
