Millennials & Money
James Kimo Zamora
June 2, 2021
On this weeks episode of Millennials and Money, our guest is Real Estate agent James “Kimo” Zamora, Kimo shares his money story and his journey from corporate America into Private enterprise in his role as a Real Estate Agent. Kimo became a single dad at age 18 and five days later his dad passed, due to circumstances Kimo was forced to grow up extremely quickly. Kimo has always been a natural salesman so it was natural for him to get into corporate sales, where he excelled. Although making what many would consider a very decent living he felt he was not able to service his clients in a way they deserved which eventually drove him leave corporate America and start his own company where he could focus on servicing the direct needs of his clients. Kimo shares how he utilized his degree in social media marketing and his economics background to understand trends and was able to achieve success for both his clients and himself in his first year in full-time real estate despite the Pandemic. Listen as he shares how expanding his business from Sacramento to Los Angeles and Hawaii has been huge for his overall growth and success through an intense digital marketing campaign. Understanding the landscape of digital marketing has helped Kimo realize the potential exposure a professional can have and the impact it can have on the growth of his business. Listen why the impact he's been able to have on his clients life is why he is driven to continue to grow his knowledge base and master his craft as a Real Estate Agent. Kimo's credits a large part of his success to “Data, Research, and Knowledge” and empowering his team of agents through continuously providing them with knowledge related not only to Real Estate but also general knowledge to help them grow as individuals, he considers his agents family and says they can all grow together.
