In this episode of Next Gen Radio, Mike Ercolano gives you his Top 10 Daily Nutrition Tips.

Top 10 Daily Nutrition Tips:

  1. Drink at least half your bodyweight in ounces of water per day.
  2. Consume 16-24 oz of water first thing in the morning.
  3. Drink calorie free beverages (water, black coffee, unsweetened tea) or protein shakes ONLY.
  4. Eat protein with every meal, and start each meal with the protein. Eat about 1 gram of protein per pound of weight.
  5. Eat 1-3 servings of fruits, and 2-4 servings of vegetables every day.
  6. Eat until you feel satisfied, about 80% full. Never eat until full.
  7. Chew your food thoroughly for proper digestion.
  8. Spread your meals out in 2-4 hour increments, eating between 3-5 times per day.
  9. Do your food shopping after eating a meal, or while not hungry to avoid impulse purchases of poor quality food.
  10. Plan ahead and prepare for the next day.
