Homeschooling is on the rise. In a Gallup poll in August of 2020, 10% of parents in the US indicated they intended to homeschool that year. And that doesn’t include children at home enrolled in a public or private school. That’s double the number of families homeschooling from the previous year.
Success varies of course. Trying to work from home, in some cases for the first time, while also playing the role of teacher is more than some parents can take, or really want to do.
Not that you have to be the teacher. There are many flavors of homeschooling - what you do reflects who you are, what you value and where you want to go.
So, is homeschooling an option for you and your family?
My good friend Pat Fullingim is joining us today to discuss these questions and more. She is a crisis & homeschooling coach, working with parents to shift chaos & confusion into clarity & confidence as they begin their homeschooling journey.
Pat is a 23 year homeschooling veteran who not only taught her own 6 kids but also assisted hundreds of families along the way through a homeschooling coop she helped establish and run.
If you've been considering homeschooling, or are already on the the journey and looking for guidance, this episode is for especially for you.Links Mentioned In Episode>>> Homeschooling Tips, Trainings, Tactics & Q&A's inside Pat's FREE Facebook group: Homeschooling 101: From Crisis To Clarity
