About Sydney Bassard:
Sydney is an ASHA certified speech-language pathologist. She serves children from birth to 18 and the adult hearing loss. Her clinical focus areas are working with children who are deaf and hard of hearing and children with dyslexia. My passion for working with children with dyslexia stems from her younger brother, who is dyslexic. Sydney has been working with structured literacy intervention since 2015. Since that time, she has continued to expand her knowledge of best practices and interventions. Sydney operates The Listening SLP on all social media channels. She shares information with parents and professionals about working with Deaf and hard of hearing children and children with reading disorders. Her goal is to make information more accessible to all families by listening, learning, and advocating with them.
