Sit, Breathe, Bow
Adam Jogen Salzberg, Sensei
December 8, 2020
The essence of faith is not faith in some thing. It is not an object. It is the absence of doubt. When we are truly entrusting in the heart, there is no faith there just is no doubt. Faith is the eyes we are looking through, the ears we are hearing with. It is the doubtless, present awareness that allows what is arising to arise as intimate and worthy of engaging.
Adam Jogen Salzberg, Sensei, began practicing dharma in 1997. From 2003 to 2018, he lived and trained full time at Great Vow Monastery, with Jan Chozen Bays, Roshi, and Hogen Bays, Roshi. Jogen is also a practitioner of Dzogchen and Paratheatre as well as a deejay and drummer.  He recently started SolisLuna, an integrated approach to spiritual development involving meditation, voice dialogue, and shadow work.
