The Practice of Learning Teams
An Introduction To The Podcast Series
August 28, 2020
Brent Sutton, the Co-Host of The Practice of Learning Teams podcast, introduces the purpose of the podcast, how the listeners get to participate and how the learnings will be shared to build a better community of practice.
Hi Safety FM listeners, this is Brent Sutton, one of the co-hosts of the new podcast series The Practice of Learning Teams, with my fellow co-hosts Glynis McCarthy and Brent Robinson.

We are excited to be joining the Safety FM family in September. Our goal is to support you on your journey and build a better community of practice for Learning Teams. Every week we will alternate between two podcast formats.

The first format is a conversation with people using learning teams in their organisation, where we explore:
1. How their journey started
2. Where does the opportunity for using learning teams come from
3. What makes a successful learning teams facilitator
4. What have been some of the challenges so far, and
5. What is the future of learning teams?

The three hosts then reflect on their learnings from the podcast. We then ask you the listener to reflect on those learnings and participate in an online journal on what you want to learn more about to be more successful in your practice of learning teams.

The following week we will host a Field Guide to Learning Teams.

The three hosts will conduct a mini-learning team based on your submissions in the learning journal. We will discuss and reflect on some of the community challenges to embed Learning Teams and explore The What?, The How? and The Why?
