And I wanted to find a way to help them expand their reach and share their expertise.

[00:00:35.440]
Green Tea Conversations is our vehicle to do just that we have in our studio today, Michele Rae, a transformational coach and founder of the Center Within, which is located in Bloomington. Michele is also the author of Living From the Center Within, Co-Creating Who You Are Becoming with over 30 years of experience, inspiring and leading groups and individuals in realizing their potential. We will certainly have a lot to talk about today. Welcome to Green Tea Conversations. Michele.

[00:01:05.140] - Michele Rae, Guest
Thank you so much for the invitation. Candi, I really appreciate it.

[00:01:08.770] - Candi Broeffle, Host
So good to have you in our Studios. So your resume or your bio that you have on your website as well is very impressive, including the fact that you're not only a personal and professional coach, but you're also a registered pharmacist, a spiritual director and organizational development consultant, and you're currently a graduate faculty member at the University of Minnesota Center of Spirituality, where you teach classes on mindful, personal and business development and holistic healing. So let's start with your work at the University of Minnesota Center of Spirituality. Share with our audience a bit about that program.

[00:01:52.080] - Michele Rae, Guest
Center itself is really a magical place in terms of the outreach in the community and the program that I teach at the Earl Bakken Center for Spirituality and Healing is a couple of different ones. I teach in the health coaching program primarily there. I teach in one credit class open to anyone who wants to learn more about the quantum physics, neuroscience, mind-body connection, and how we, as human beings, continue to turn transform in our own human development. And then the second course I teach there currently is a business course.

[00:02:28.870]
It's a business course for the health coaches spending this money and time and investing these resources. And then how do they want to manifest in the world? What is the expression of their practice going to be? So we walk through, create a business plan, a logo marketing plan, and it's just so fun to watch students, ideas and the non-form come into life on paper, and many of them have gone on to have beautiful careers and launched from some of the ideas in that course. So it's really inspiring for me.

[00:03:00.500] - Candi Broeffle, Host
That is such an important part of a program like that. There's so many people who go into coaching or in particular coaching who really want to be an instrument to help people in living their best lives. But they don't maybe have the business background that they need to do that. And so you have been a professional coach for how long?

[00:03:26.300] - Michele Rae, Guest
I started the center within officially in 2001. So it's 18 years now.

[00:03:30.970]
Oh, my goodness. Yes. So you have a lot of experience running a business and marketing your business. And it's really interesting and really impressive, actually, that the EU has included that in part of their health coaching program. What are some of the other programs that they offer within the center of spirituality?

[00:03:51.800] - Michele Rae, Guest
They offer in the center for Spirituality and Healing mindfulness courses, the mindfulness-based stress reduction course, the John Kevitz on classic courses offered regularly. They do a bit with mindfulness in organizations themselves, working specifically with organizations and for leaders. They have a whole program on yoga and various aspects, from philosophy to the actual poses and yoga pieces. There's food as medicine kind of food matters course. And they also bring in a number of speakers throughout the year.

[00:04:28.910]
Brene Brown has been here. John Hevison has been here. Richie Davidson comes with the Dalai Lama's personal assistant. And so I really have a passion for the organization. The program in terms of what they offer for students that are enrolled either as continuing that kinds of things or actual full-time students, such as we offer a master's degree in a certificate in the health coaching program. They also work with a doctor of nursing program and offer some integrative health and wellness types of courses that people can fold into that program in nursing as well as throughout the University, even individualized type of health and wellness programs throughout.

[00:05:13.160]
So it's a fascinating organization and center. And if you're not on their mailing list, I would highly recommend it. And I'll just give them one more plug. They have a well-being wheel that they have created and you can go on their website and open it. It's a free resource for anyone in the world. It has six different areas of health and wellness. And underneath you can take a quiz to us where you're at. They have a number of resources and some phenomenal articles that you can learn more about how to enhance your well-being in all these aspects of your life. So it's a great tool that's available too.

[00:05:48.670] - Candi Broeffle, Host
That's great. Thank you for that. And they can find that right on the University, Minnesota. So it's, UMN.Edu.

[00:05:56.110] - Michele Rae, Guest
It is in it's CSH CenterforSpiritualityandHealing.UMN will bring you right to their page.

[00:06:03.760] - Candi Broeffle, Host
Okay, great. So within the center of spirituality, who are some of the what type of clients or students actually take classes? There is this something that people use as more in advanced training? I know you said that you they partner with the nursing program. So kind of looking at people who are already nurses. Can they come in and get some additional training?

[00:06:30.600] - Michele Rae, Guest
They can they also offer programs for undergraduates? I recently a couple of years ago, helped to redo their foundational course. It's a two-credit course online. It's the principles of holistic, health, and healing, and we had a number of undergraduate students all the way up to 80-year-olds that were taking the course. And it's people that come in that are looking for integrative ways. Alternative, complementary and alternative medicine is what we used to call it. But ways that really incorporate the mind, body spirit, many of which are rooted in self-care and want to be more empowered in managing their stress, their depression, their anxiety, those kinds of pieces.

[00:07:12.760]
So it's everyone from people wanting to access the programs to move from feeling dysfunctional and dysregulated to being functional, and then healthcare professionals themselves that are already feeling adequate, wanting to move to optimal in my worldview, move into that enlightened stage of your own human development, where you feel that power and really act as a vessel for the energetic vibrations coming through your own inspiration, your own creativity, so you can access the programs there at any level of development and find the one that suits you best.

[00:07:52.180] - Candi Broeffle, Host
Now, one of the things you said is finding your own enlightenment men. And I know that from speaking to people within this field, they are seeing such a shift that is happening now. It's been happening for some time, but even more rapidly, it seems right now, tell us about your experience as far as with the people that you work with either the students through the center or your own clients, what are you kind of seeing as different now compared to, say, eight or ten years ago.

[00:08:22.080] - Michele Rae, Guest
I am seeing a collective an increase in access to the flow to being in the flow. I have felt like ten years ago, people were just trying to individually get stable enough to feel like they could contribute as great citizens have meaningful relationships, feel good in their body, their minds. And now what I'm seeing is there's a movement towards this I call it moving from us. I as individual to I as interconnected. And we're really seeing the interconnection throughout the planet, whether it's the Internet, for instance, being an external expression of that.

[00:09:06.510]
But I'm seeing people really begin to understand they are part of the whole and their contribution is far rippling beyond their own individual personhood. So they're coming in, wanting to get everything organized and straighten out and align mind-body-spirit for the purpose of being. I'm calling it these days love in action. They really want to have impact and connect more deeply and create new solutions to old problems. So there's this increase in I call it kind of a genius, an increase in new inventions, new ways of thinking about things.

[00:09:46.810]
We've got Uber, we've got Airbnb, right. Those kinds of or structures. We know that the old structures are not working to serve the greater good, and those of us who are not trapped in the fear are really making an active effort through intention and attention, managing our attention and connecting with others, wanting to really make a difference and put some new systems in place that are sustainable and on behalf of the greater good.

[00:10:16.720] - Candi Broeffle, Host
I think it's really interesting when you look back and you start to just the other day, I was looking back at something and wondering how long has that been in place, and I can't remember exactly what it was that I was looking. I'm trying to remember if it was Uber or I use Uber so often when I'm out of town. And I think what did I do before Uber when you had to take taxis and that type of thing and then you look back and see it hasn't been that long.

[00:10:42.360] - Michele Rae, Guest
Right?

[00:10:42.890] - Candi Broeffle, Host
All of these inventions have happened just in the last few years. And so it's exciting to see how many new things are coming up when we just kind of allow ourselves to be present and be in that space of what is possible. So that's very interesting. And I know that we're going to be in our next segment. We're going to come back and we're going to continue to talk about that and talk about how you see things changing within organizations as well because you do a lot of work with organizations. So where can people go? What is your website? If people want to learn more about what you do?

[00:11:19.740] - Michele Rae, Guest
It is www.CenterWithin C-E-N-T-E-R-W-I-T-H-I-N.com.

[00:11:29.880] - Michele Rae, Guest

[00:12:05.510] - Candi Broeffle, Host
Welcome back to Green Tea Conversations, where we delve into the pages of Natural Awakenings magazine and talk to the professionals who share their expertise on natural health with you. I'm your host, Candi Broeffle, and today we're talking with transformational coach Michele Rae, founder of the Center Within in Bloomington and author of Living From the Center Within Co-Creating Who You Are Becoming. Thanks for being with us, Michele.

[00:12:30.690] - Michele Rae, Guest
So fabulous to be here Candi.

[00:12:33.700] - Candi Broeffle, Host
Just before the break, we were talking about some of the classes that you teach at the University of Minnesota Center of Spirituality, and you were telling us about a business class that you teach that is specifically for the students who are going through the health coaching program at the center. But you also teach a class called Building Your Coaching Practice, Enhancing Your Coaching Business. And you teach that one at the center within which is your wellness clinic in Bloomington? Correct.

[00:13:03.310] - Michele Rae, Guest
Correct.

[00:13:04.150] - Candi Broeffle, Host
So tell us a bit about that. Tell us a bit about that class. Is it similar to what you teach at the U.

[00:13:10.420] - Michele Rae, Guest
It is a segment of what I'm teaching at the U. What's happened, as you know, is that we continue in our businesses as we develop with all the technology tools to have opportunities to create access for people all over the world to information. So I have recently been invited by the International Consortium of Health and Wellness Coaches, who are the organization that we, as health coaches, sit for sort certification exams and become certified. And we are now required to have some continuing education to keep our license up.

[00:13:48.520]
And the organization had asked me to do a webinar, which I did on mind, body, spirit, and wellness aspects. And they've invited me to become a continuing education provider for all the nationally board-certified health coaches, which is exciting. Very cool.

[00:14:07.840] - Candi Broeffle, Host
Yeah.

[00:14:08.420] - Michele Rae, Guest
So as we are in the world expressing our passions around whatever we're doing, mind, body spirit stuff in my worldview, then there are more and more people like I had talked about earlier that come together and a line around maybe a project. So this course is 100% online.

[00:14:26.030]
It does offer to continue education credits if you are a nationally board-certified health coach, and it is on enhancing your business. So it walks us through the vision and mission and what really makes our heart saying and how does that train translate into a marketing plan? And how does that translate into purpose, priorities, and goals? And then I do a fourth section in that course around finance, and it's really around abundance where our beliefs limiting. How do we find a way to not be in sales and marketing in the old way, but in a new way, where this is what makes my heart sing, this is what I've learned about it because it makes my heart sing, and I'd like to share it with you if it's a value.

[00:15:07.190]
So there's invitation for anyone who's interested in enhancing their business to go ahead and work through that course that's available on my website. And I have nine different courses that will be up and running in three months offering the continuing education piece of that. And the second one I'm working on right now is specific to marketing the business for health coaches in particular. But any of us holistic practitioners or anyone in business that is interested in kind of having a nice, systematic way to review your process and enhance your business.

[00:15:41.760] - Candi Broeffle, Host
Tell us a little bit about that. Give us a little glimpse into that course itself. So the marketing course that you're developing, it sounds like you're really helping people to become a line through the vision and mission and really getting clear on who it is that you are and what your business is about too often as entrepreneurs, I'm a serial entrepreneur and I love bright, shiny objects. So whenever I see one, I want to follow it right away. And it's really important in order to be successful that we don't go off into 150 directions, which we tend to want to do.

[00:16:17.720] - Michele Rae, Guest
Absolutely.

[00:16:18.730] - Candi Broeffle, Host
And I know is a problem for most entrepreneurs. So it sounds like you really help people to really get aligned with what it is that's important to them. And then I would assume that you then take that even a step further with your marketing.

[00:16:34.390] - Michele Rae, Guest
Absolutely. And to your .1 of the tricks for us as we become more and more energetically sensitive. I call it more and more aware of our real deep essence and what House Bear comes through us and what our unique expression of that is to be able as those shiny objects come up. As far as I can tell, they'll come up forever is to be able to almost do, like a little month testing a little. How do we know if this is a yes or this is a no?

[00:17:04.830]
Is it an alignment with and will further our growth and development or the expression of our expertise in the world? And if it's a no to be willing to make space even if there doesn't feel like a strong yes for something else. But I do feel like what we say no to is sometimes as important as what we say yes to and to your point, does it come back and touch that essence of our authentic message, our authentic vision? And can we make all of our small little choices every day about where we spend our resources of time and money and energy, who we network with, how much a long time we have, Where's our self-care, all the balance?

[00:17:44.280]
And then to your point, the marketing is so exciting because there's multiple ways to express and be visible. We can have the most incredible life-changing transformational, product or service. And if people can't find us if we're not visible, we are not a service.

[00:18:01.420] - Candi Broeffle, Host
So now this is in particular for continuing education credits for health coaches. But can anyone take the courses?

[00:18:12.240] - Michele Rae, Guest
Absolutely. It's for anyone entrepreneurial, small business, even large business. I mean, the principles are the principles and Candi knows as well because she's a phenomenal business coach. In case you don't know that.

[00:18:23.410] - Candi Broeffle, Host
Thank you.

[00:18:24.340] - Michele Rae, Guest
Yeah. And so the offering is and will continue to be the offerings. I'm going to develops them on health and wellness and gratitude and purpose and a number of different health and wellness types of modalities as well as other specific coaching techniques like motivational interviewing and group coaching. And we have some of those in the works as well.

[00:18:44.040] - Candi Broeffle, Host
And so in order to find out about about your classes and to enroll in it, do they go to your website?

[00:18:51.300] - Michele Rae, Guest
They do. There's an events workshops page. And so there's live events that are coming up as well as the online courses and the other exciting piece right next to the continuing education courses for health and wellness coaches and any other business people or anyone interested in health and wellness is a second tab or a beautiful picture that is for spiritual development courses, and those are in the works as well. And I know we'll have one coming up that will be chatting about, but I'm really excited to be able to bridge that gap between that gap, but just finding them to be very similar of how we express them, however, through our business, through wellness, through health, as well as the deeper look at the spiritual aspect of being human.

[00:19:37.560] - Candi Broeffle, Host
So now on your website, you also have some classes that people can attend in person. And I know you have a monthly get-together and tell us a bit about that.

[00:19:49.790] - Michele Rae, Guest
Yeah, I call it the monthly Connection and attunement because we get together and it's generally like-minded mind, body, spirit people. It's at my office at 8100 that we use the conference center at 81 and 20 South Penn Avenue, which is just south of 494 and pen happens once a month. It's a $25 donation. I don't really keep track. Stop by if that's a problem, don't worry about it. No one will notice. We do practice. We do some kind of meditation practice. We connect and really find some community of like-minded people great.

[00:20:24.860] - Candi Broeffle, Host
And I have attended it. It's a lot of it's really interesting and a lot of fun. And you meet some really great people, so to find out more, they can go to center within. Com. And we're talking with Michele Rae of the Center Within. And when we come back, we're going to talk about an exciting new program Michele is bringing to us called Being Human. To read Natural Awakenings magazine online, visit NaturalTwinCities.Com. You can find a podcast of the show on Am950Radio.Com on Apple podcast and Google Podcast. You're listening to Green Tea Conversations on Am 950, the progressive Voice of Minnesota, and we'll be back in just a bit.

[00:21:09.200] - Candi Broeffle, Host
Welcome back to Green Tea Conversations, where we meet the professionals straight from the pages of Natural Awakenings magazine who share their expertise on natural health with you. I'm your host, Candi Broeffle, and today we are talking with Michele Rae, the founder of the Center Within a wellness clinic in Bloomington who is also a transformational coach and author of Living From the Center Within Co-Creating Who You Are Becoming. Welcome back to the show, Michele.

[00:21:36.030] - Michele Rae, Guest
Thank you, Candi.

[00:21:37.140] - Candi Broeffle, Host
So before the break, we were talking about a number of different things, including some of the classes that you teach at your wellness center. And I also understand that you do work with organizations, so you are invited into organizations to come in and work with their leaders and teams. I take it that is true. Okay. So tell us a bit about that about the work that you do?

[00:22:01.340] - Michele Rae, Guest
Yeah. The organizational work I do is founded in the same as individual work optimizing our potential. I teach a fair amount on nonviolent communication. How do we communicate authentically with each other within an organization? How do we resolve conflict and how do we work with external customers and clients as well? The program often is founded on mindfulness, as is my entire business.

[00:22:34.170] - Candi Broeffle, Host
Your life work. Yeah.

[00:22:36.490] - Michele Rae, Guest
How to be present in the present moment without judgment, on purpose. And so we work with organizations to get centered, teach some self-awareness skills, mindfulness skills. And then we move from there, often into emotional intelligence skills. How do I recognize my own reactivity? And then what skills do I have to manage that so that I can stay present and open to good listening, good speaking, the communication pieces. And then we move into social intelligence. Once I can master my own reactivity, then how can I be with another human being, a patient, a client, a colleague, and really be empathetic, be present to what's occurring have the skill to be able to understand versus needing to always be understood or be the one to be speaking, to make that space, to build relationships.

[00:23:33.980]
And through that, then we have great influence in the world with, again, our internal or external customers we contribute, we mentor, we resolve problems. We are creative or inspirational or innovative as we've talked about with a genius. But often we can't access that if we're sort of moving from one state of being a victim or feeling disempowered or being reactive instead of Proactive. So those are the skills that I often will work with. I teach a course on this at the Humphrey Institute, the University of Minnesota once a year.

[00:24:09.960]
I'm currently working with two different organizations, one of them where we have four training sessions set up from beginning with their leaders to their entire staff to developing some ongoing training around the culture of really showing up, respecting people, and contributing to the improving the organizations. And I'm working with a colleague of mine in my office, Amber Weingart, right now working on a two-day workshop we're going to do for a national company in Tucson in April. So that one we structured with the wellbeing of the individuals well being of leaders and then well being of organizations and the different skill developments on each one of those areas.

[00:24:51.450]
So it's really an exciting time.

[00:24:53.990] - Candi Broeffle, Host
So you work with organizations not just in the Twin Cities, but kind of all over the United States?

[00:24:59.930] - Michele Rae, Guest
Yeah. If you want to pay me to talk about this stuff with your group, I'm in it.

[00:25:05.490] - Candi Broeffle, Host
Just give us a call, see?

[00:25:08.110] - Michele Rae, Guest
Absolutely.

[00:25:09.560] - Candi Broeffle, Host
So some of the other things that you do, you do some executive coaching as well.

[00:25:13.660] - Michele Rae, Guest
I do. And that is in and of the same. I do one on one coaching in the office. And people come from a well-being perspective from a spiritual development perspective or from a purpose and meaning kind of the executive coaching. And often when I work with organizations, they have packages where we'll work and do some executive coaching work with the leadership team, work with the organization as a whole. Each time I work with an organization or a leader, it's a custom package as to what their needs are and what types of topics they want to focus on.

[00:25:44.930]
I have a list of topics under my professional development.

[00:25:47.690] - Candi Broeffle, Host
Do you have an extensive list of topics and they're all so important in the workplace? And I like how it's all aligned. It's nice when you're working with the leaders of the organization and then to be able to align with the employees that are underneath the leader as well and throughout the entire organization. Everybody then is speaking the same language and has the same vernacular that they can come into conversations with.

[00:26:13.780] - Michele Rae, Guest
Absolutely.

[00:26:14.630] - Candi Broeffle, Host
So thank you for that. And if somebody wanted to have you come into their organization, do they call you or do you have them fill out a form on your website. How can they contact you?

[00:26:26.900] - Michele Rae, Guest
Yeah. At this point, it's because it's so customized. Really, with any of my work. I invite you to email it's. Michele, M-I-C-H-E-L-E @centerwithin.Com or contact me through my phone number, which is 602-310-8876.

[00:26:14.630] - Candi Broeffle, Host
So 602?

[00:26:44.930] - Michele Rae, Guest
310-8876. Yeah.

[00:26:51.910] - Candi Broeffle, Host
Great. Now you also have a new program coming up that's called Being Human Realizing Potential in the New Era. So tell us a bit about this. I know you have a partner who you're working with to develop this program and to bring it to our community. And your partner's name again. Is he?

[00:27:11.010] - Michele Rae, Guest
It's Nina. Robert Allison and she and I are working together to bring this up opportunity for a deeper dive into the spiritual process of unfolding and really owning our full potential of being human. And in this new era, because as we've talked about already, there's different qualities available. There's new insights coming. There's new energetic for those of us who are kind of empath and can feel the energy happening on the planet. There's a different level of vibration. For me. It feels like a higher frequency that's coming through, and our bodies are adjusting.

[00:27:48.280]
The planet is adjusting. And so with some of the new technology and some of the new understanding we have through quantum physics and through the my body connection, we really are understanding how to tap into our full potential and really be able to access. I call it multidimensional mindfulness, where we can really move our attention far beyond our individual personhood and gather and interact with and obtain and receive information from multiple dimensions and different ways of knowing beyond our five senses.

[00:28:22.740] - Candi Broeffle, Host
And how long is the program?

[00:28:25.300] - Michele Rae, Guest
What we're doing is it's a weekend? It's a sat all day Saturday beginning March 16, and it will be once a month in all day Saturday, we're going to meet at the Lake Carriot Spiritual Community Center, and then we'll have gatherings or connections in between, whether it's a Zoom call or an article or some live Facebook interaction. So the idea is to build community and have kind of a retreat feeling where we're really working on our practices and developing, taking our spiritual potential into realize everyday living.

[00:29:03.100] - Candi Broeffle, Host
That is really neat. And so people can learn more about the program on your website?

[00:29:09.200] - Michele Rae, Guest
It's on that same event page right next to the monthly attunement and connection is the Being Human button that you can learn more about it and register.

[00:29:19.900] - Candi Broeffle, Host
Okay. And you also have a book. And we've talked about this a couple of times as I was introducing you called Living from the center within cocreating who you are becoming. So tell us about the book.

The book is a call to action for any of us interested in living a life awake, intentionally managing our attention, having our awareness present in the moment, learning about how to say yes and no, and what that means. So it's a book that came out of people asking students and clients, do you have this system of coaching that you do sort of in an organized fashion that I could share with someone like, well, I have little pieces. So I took on the project of writing the book and Paragon house here in town published it, which is so cool.

[00:30:08.540]
And each chapter has some didactic understanding of mindfulness or levels of consciousness or using supporting practices, transformative practices and has some guided imagery segments of practice. And that at the end of each chapter is a reflection question. So you can use it as kind of a self-guided study. You could use it as a book club. And I am in the process on my online classes that I've been working on, creating an online course that mirrors the book and to do some podcasts and some recorded guided meditations that we can use at your own leisure ongoing.

But I just feel so passionate about this time of tremendous transformation and change. There is so much fear and uncertainty, and I'm really inviting us to all have a conversation. The book is one way to invite that conversation to support each other, encourage each other to step into our power, to show up, and to live a life of calm, ease, EFG. I call it ease, flow, and Grace.

[00:31:18.200] - Candi Broeffle, Host
EFG. Ease, flow, and Grace. I like that. So tell us, you know, you said in this time, especially it's important for us to be able to show up. What do you see? I know kind of my viewpoint of it, but what do you see is happening right now and that we need to be really cognizant of.

[00:31:38.660] - Michele Rae, Guest
Well, I'm going to build off what you said earlier about how much change has happened. Of course, I'm driving over here this morning and have my little type in the address and thing comes up, and I did check online. I'm not printing maps and directions anymore, right. The MapQuest printer.

Right.

[00:31:57.620] - Michele Rae, Guest
So there are so many ways that we have changed our entire daily functioning because of this huge influx of technology. Let's say, as an example, is one way that we're seeing it mirrored in our external world. I've traveled amazing opportunities to travel, and I remember being in the slums in Nairobi, and every person has a cell phone and they do their banking on their cell phones, even in poverty. And it's connected us. It's changed the hierarchical information as power is shared. We're still in our infancy in all of the changes and making them translate into our daily life where they are in the higher good, the highest good.

[00:32:44.530]
We're still figuring that out. There are many organizations out there that are changing education, changing finance, changing. We've got bitcoins. We've got online learning, right? We've got politics is certainly changing. Religion is certainly changing, right. Even how we do family is changing. So it's not just a piece of it. It's the foundational way of being human that is shifting and changing. As far as I can tell on the other side of this, we have a huge potential to live in a very empowered society.

[00:33:24.560] - Candi Broeffle, Host
So all this technology is right now is good and bad. It's kind of keeping us from connecting at a deeper level. But yet the potential to connect is there, and the potential to make life easier for us is there with all the technology. But it is interesting to see where people are coming from because there's this real need for a true connection with people. So we're going to talk more about that when we come back and to register for being human or to learn more about the services and classes that Michele offers.

So great to be here, Candi. Thank you.

[00:35:00.500] - Candi Broeffle, Host
So this past December you actually did. You provided a workshop with one of our favorite people Nea Clare. I might be a little biased, and you provided an all the workshop together called Activating Your Vessel creating your divine plan for 2019? What can you tell us about the about the program in the experience that participants had without that.

[00:35:26.520] - Michele Rae, Guest
It was a lovely day. We had an all-day gathering of people from 20 to 80, and it is really a gathering of people that were interested in exploring. What is the energy, Ben, what is all this breaking apart? What is all this more transparency? What is all this highlight on what isn't working and things that were hidden or not spoken about have been brought into the light of the transparency, whether it's the Church or the politics or the abuse or the oppression or whatever it is, and how does that serve us moving into 2019?

[00:36:13.290]
So we talked about where we've been and what the energy has been inviting, how it's impacted us, because for many of us as corsets an external process. But the internal process of what are those beliefs, those limiting beliefs that I've held on to, and that negative self-talk. And I'm so much more aware of it. It's so much louder. How do I use that to get it up and out in heal and move forward in 2019? The intention of this gathering with the intention to be in my power to step into the spaces where all that releasing is happening.

[00:36:54.660]
And what do I want to create in 2019, personally interpersonally professionally? And so we did some meditation. We did some small group work. We did some large group work. We did some creative work. We did some journaling, and the stories that people had during that time that they brought forward were these incredible stories of these brand new insights, ways of thinking in their meditation, for instance, that they feel like they're traveling and there's information that they're accessing. There's one man I remembering as an engineer, and he's like, I'm working on these projects, and I'm getting these downloads.

[00:37:36.440]
He called them this new information coming in of new ways to create solutions to the problems that they were bringing us as an engineer. And he's like, and it's coming in this flooded gate kind of way, and I need to learn the language around it. I want to bring it back to my team and encourage other people to normalize this new way of accessing, new ways of thinking and being and relating. I was everyone left there feeling very full and nourished and encouraged, and I would say normal, normalizes, all this new stuff breaking apart, both in what we're releasing and in what's coming in.

[00:38:17.910] - Candi Broeffle, Host
It's really interesting that you share that experience with the gentleman who is an engineer. And there's so much we analyze so much of what the information that we're getting. We analyze it. We question it. We put it aside. It sounds like he's really opening up to allowing it to come in and then not questioning it as much.

[00:38:42.790] - Michele Rae, Guest
I think you're right, Candi. One of the things is that if new information, say, a brand new solution as to what to do with all the nuclear waste that we have buried. That is starting to leak out, comes in, and we are working all of us and holding each other mutually accountable to keep that information in the new realm of possibility rather than scrunching it down and making it small and making it have to fit into the old paradigms. And to your point, some of us, it's bidden or unbidden.

[00:39:16.370]
Some of us is so strong. It's just like, all right, I don't know what to do with this, but it's undeniable kind of thing. And that's come visit me as a coach. I mean, those are the kinds of people that walk into my office to help to integrate and embody this new way of being. But you're right, avoiding the temptation to minimize it and diminish it is really a part of the process.

[00:39:40.370] - Candi Broeffle, Host
And to look at things differently than how we've looked at them before. So instead of saying, Well, we've tried that before it didn't work. Or here's all the problems around that to just being open to the solutions. Now, that program that weekend was so well received that you and NIA decided to create a new program called Activating your Vessel acclimating to fifth-dimensional energies from what you learned in December. And based on what you shared earlier about the differences in the people that you work with right now and what their kind of experience, what can you share with us about this new online program?

[00:40:20.240] - Michele Rae, Guest
The online program is a series of lectures, and I did a lecture around the topic. We actually recorded live the meditations that we did during the weekend get-together. And so we've rerecorded or use some of those. We've added some information, we have some reflection questions. We have different resources, but it really is taking a look at this. Some of us are calling a dimensional shift in in humanity. It's one of the languages that's being used is third dimensional to fifth dimensional, hence the name of it in my my book.

[00:40:54.440]
I talk about it as moving from my primary identity of being an individual to my primary identity of being interconnected. And so, for instance, some of the qualities of the shift is that we're moving from this time where things were secret and now they're transparent, where we were into depletion. And now we're looking to sustainability. We were looking to polarization, still present. But there's many looking for common ground. We're moving from entitlement to a place where we're mutually accountable. We're moving from this dominance to freedom and independence.

[00:41:33.640]
So those are some terms out of my book describing this old era, this individual era, moving into this new era, interconnected or fifth dimensional. So that chart, for instance, from my book, is a piece of this course to really give us some concrete examples around. Can I let go of that? Is it, you know, am I able to really release my attachment out of fear and limitation and scarcity and move into a place of receiving abundance and plenty and step up further into my own gifts and talents.

[00:42:11.620] - Candi Broeffle, Host
And I think one of the important things when you're reading it and you're saying moving from one space to another, it sounds like this is a flow that we go through, but it's really not. We call it in coaching. You have to have the break before you have the breakthrough. And this really is a time, and people feel a little nervous about it or scared about it and what's happening. It seems very chaotic. But it's also a part of that process of moving from where we are now to where we eventually you're going to be.

[00:42:43.740] - Michele Rae, Guest
You're exactly right. And you and I both know about the theory of spiral dynamics, and that's another way.

[00:42:49.530] - Candi Broeffle, Host
And we'll talk about that another time. But thanks for being with us today, Michele, and thank you for all the important work that you're doing on behalf of our communities, and to learn more about how you can work with Michele, visit centerwithin.Com.
