Our guest for today shares her journey and experiences on how she dealt with her son's addiction. In today's episode of The 3-21 NoKiddin' Podcast, I chatted with Shelley Steinley. She is a mother of four humans and 2 canines. Shelly is also an author, triathlete, marathoner, and founder of the Noah Strong Foundation nonprofit organization.During our chat, Shelley shares her experiences and also the ways and techniques that she did while dealing with Noah's addiction. What she had to do as a mother and what she is still doing.Noah, Shelley's son, was 16 when he was caught smoking pot behind the shed at his private tennis school. Over the next four years, he’d experiment with drugs and his drug of choice, heroin. He’d be in and out of five rehab centers, ten times, with two open-heart surgeries to save his life at 19. As a result of this experience, Shelley wrote a book called "Hold on For Your Life".
