Glen Burgess is the Deputy Fire Centre Manager in Kamloops with the BC Wildfire Service. He began his career on an Initial Attack Crew in 1986 following graduation from college with a Diploma in Forestry. He has had experience working in most regions of British Columbia. Glen is a certified Type 1 Incident Commander, Operations Chief and Plans Chief. For the five-year period of 2014 -2108 he had the pleasure of leading one of the Province’s Incident Management Teams leading to over 300 days of incident leadership.
