Hear what money was like for Amir throughout his life, Amir shares what life was like growing up in the Bay Area in a single-parent household and how he learned at a young age that if he wanted something he was going to have to get out there and grind for it. Amir shares how that “get it out the mud” attitude lead him to a basketball scholarship at Chico State which he was able to parlay into an international professional basketball career. Amir shares how he learned how to increase his stock as a player by listening to other vets in the league. Amir also shares what life is like today now that he's retired from his career in basketball and how he was able to land a career after basketball through the relationships he built while at Chico State.
