Many indie authors have leaned on the USA Today Bestseller List for social proof of their author prowess. It's a very easy indicator to readers that you've sold a lot of books. But now, with the long-term editor Mary Cadden being laid off, the USAT Bestsellers List is on hiatus. So, what does that mean for indies?
