March 5, 2019
Birthdays are great, right? Sometimes they are, but not always. Some of our kids find birthdays to be really stressful, and those feelings can come out in all kinds of ways. In this episode, we talk about celebrating our kids' birthdays with special attention paid to the unique needs of kids with early trauma. We explore reducing anxiety, honoring first families, and having realistic expectations.
