Jon Acton, an author, educator, and speaker, shares about the power of believing in others and how laughter can get us through the toughest of times.

"If we couldn't laugh, we'd all go insane." - Jimmy Buffett

Jon is the superintendent of a small school corporation in Indiana, and he's been inspiring students, teachers, and communities with his unique outlook on life. Despite facing a serious health challenge, Jon remains committed to making the most of his time and spreading a message of positivity and perseverance.

"We are very quick and I've historically been way too quick to judge. So when you get an illness, boy, it sure straightens you up quickly and says maybe you should be a little bit more forgiving and less judgmental and try to maybe remind others to do the same."

During our conversation, Jon shared a quote by Jimmy Buffett that really resonated with him, reminding us of the importance of laughter in maintaining our sanity. He also told me about a powerful saying in his family: "You can slow us down, but you can't stop us." It was inspiring to hear how he's passing this mindset on to his own children.

This episode is for anyone who needs a dose of inspiration and a reminder that even in the darkest of times, the power of belief and laughter can carry us through. Jon's story is a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and the importance of surrounding ourselves with positive, supportive people.
