Let's do this.

Hey, guys, welcome along to this week's podcast, and this week I'm talking about the misconceptions you have about success or may have now. You already have beliefs and notions about success, and would you believe that many of them are actually wrong? The problem is, if you have an inaccurate belief about success, it could prevent you from taking any action at all.

Because you're going to say, Well, I don't want to be successful because, no, it's not the things you don't know that heart you. It's the things you believe that are true that aren't which do hurt you if your ideas about success or faulty success is much more elusive. So let's talk about some of the many misconceptions that people have regarding success. The first one successful people have a certain type of personality. Bill Gates is considered an introvert, but not shy. Barack Obama is often described as a very aloof. Of course, there may be successful extroverts as well.

Whatever personality type you have, you can rest assured it's more than enough to reach a level of success. The second misconception that people have is that money changes a person well, money has never changed anyone. Money only provides the opportunity to act on your impulses with money. All the things you daydream about buying on doing are finally possible. Money only shines a light on the truth. The third misconception is that one must be intelligent to be successful. Actually, the opposite may be true. While there many examples of brilliant people attaining high levels of success, they're even more examples of those with ordinary intellect being just as successful.

Consistency and determination are far more important than intelligence when it comes to success. Some people would believe our fourth misconception that it's necessary toe have an original idea. You don't have to invent the next Facebook or Microsoft to achieve success. It's possible to be successful by marginally improving upon the work on ideas of others just out working. The competition is often enough to generate success. Our fifth misconception is it takes a lot of time to become and stay successful. Well, we all have the same 24 hours each day, right? The question is. Are you spending your 24 hours as effectively as possible? Focusing on the most relevant tasks each day will decrease the amount of time you must work. Most people avoid the most pertinent tasks because they aren't enjoyable. Number six successes Lonely. Do you imagine yourself sitting home alone because of becoming successful? Nothing could be further from the truth. It's true there are fewer successful people than unsuccessful. However, you have far more business and social opportunities because of your success. Of course, Number seven is true. Or is it? Luck is an important component of success. Well, it's true that many successful people have also bean extremely lucky. At times. However, the only way to be lucky is to give yourself numerous opportunities to be lucky. The more work you do, the better odds of being lucky.

Occasionally, look is nice, but hardly mandatory. You don't need it. Our eighth misconception is that most successful people had an easy time. You'd be shocked by the adversity faced by many of the most successful people to walk the Earth. Many successful people started in the most disadvantageous situations on faced incredible obstacles. The difference is that most of us would have quit 100 times. The successful person kept moving forward on our last misconception is it's important to have ah, lots of will power to achieve success. Well, willpower is in short supply unless your life is at stake. Willpower is useful during the early stages of developing new habits. After habit is formed, willpower is necessary. How much willpower do you need to brush your teeth each day?

Think about that. Now, let me ask you how many of these misconceptions did you believe on how I change your mind? You see, having an accurate representation of success dramatically increases your arts. So my advice to you is embrace the truth and you can expect to achieve a new level of success in any endeavor.
