March 3, 2021
Welcome to the 24th episode of the podcast series. In today's podcast, we speak to Gary Wong a complexity facilitator or as I reference in this episode more of a “Sense Maker”. Gary will share his world of storytelling and making sense of complexity in safety.
Hi Safety FM listeners, this is Brent Sutton, one of the co-hosts of the new podcast series The Practice of Learning Teams, with my fellow co-hosts Glynis McCarthy and Brent Robinson.

Our goal is to support you on your journey and build a better community of practice for Learning Teams.

Today's podcast is part one of a two-part discussion with Gary Wong. Gary Wong is a complexity facilitator or as I reference in this episode more of a “Sense Maker”.

Gary is based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Gary runs his own consulting practice focusing on complexity thinking and safety.

This was one of those podcasts where the conversation was so deep and meaningful that the time just disappeared. The content was so good, I couldn’t reduce it to our normal 30-minute format.

Next episode we will complete the journey with Gary and I will be joined by my fellow colleagues Glynis McCarthy and Brent Robinson. We will conduct a mini learning team on the key threads and themes from those conversations.

Please join us now as we hear from Gary in his world of storytelling and making sense of complexity in safety.
