“God’s church doesn’t have a mission. God’s mission has a church.” We’re taking a break from our Core Values series this week, as we held our gathering in the park with all of The Syndicate, a movement of micro-churches that we belong to, committed to engaging every neighborhood with the gospel and sending every believer as a missionary. This week, looking at Jesus’ instructions to the apostles in Matthew 10, Robert talked about what it means to be the church- sent ones in the way of Jesus-, and our command to listen, obey the challenge to go into the world, and take upon us the easy yoke of Jesus, the light burden that tells our anxieties that God’s grace is sufficient for today.
