Howdy, A:R Nation! I hope you and the people in your life keep on keeping on, because that's what we need more than ever. We especially need to keep on keeping on for the youth in our lives. As a consequence of this public health pandemic, education, as we know it, has been disrupted around the world. I couldn't be more fortunate at a time like this to have our guest on the show. He's Enrique Noguera. He's a community educator, as well as a self-described A.I. enthusiast. He also has spent much of his professional time examining how school districts around the country can better deploy education curricula to their students. It's work that requires a delicate balance between the different needs of individuals and families, the communities in which they live, political issues, access to resources, socioeconomic inequities, and just plain old caring about seeing people succeed. In this conversation, Enrique shares with us how this pandemic has opened up the need for educational professionals to rethink what constitutes educating our youth. We talk about the opportunities to increase access to education, particularly to traditionally underserved populations. He shares with us, like many people are experiencing. the struggles of parenting and educating during this time.
