Shaken Awake gets shaken away by Korey Burris - the man whom God would not allow to die. Growing up under severe family abuse, suicide of his best friend, and his own attempt at suicide that almost ended his life, 54 reconstructive surgeries, to more chaos with drug and alcohol abuse, to time in jail and prison, to a life where most can't image - God came and shook Korey awake. From Chaos to Glory. And from glory to glory to glory - how God used a broken man to come back to life and make it his prime mission to serve God with everything he has and to help others overcome what he almost couldn't. I even cancelled the episode with our next Guest, who I’m about to introduce, as I was feeling too ill to even sit up. However, in my prayers to God, asking Him to repair me, and thinking about Korey and this show and what he has for you today, God said to me this: I felt Him saying, “Don’t let the devil and his virus be greater than your faith in Me!” Within the second, I’m back on with Korey saying – we’re doing this Brother!!!! Satan isn’t stopping this one from getting out.

So, without further ado, I am proud, humbled, honored, and bless to have with us today Korey Burris. Korey is not just a new Brother in Christ to me, he is a walking, talking, ministering, beloved child of God that has such a profound story, I will do very little talking this episode. He is the man God would not allow to die. This such a powerful testimony to the One we Serve, the Almighty God, and a witness to Korey’s faithfulness in taking what the enemy meant for evil, and using with helping hands of our Father, to use it for good.
