Gregg Treinish was named a National Geographic “Adventurer of the Year” after completing the first-known trek along the spine of the Andes mountain range - a 7,800-mile expedition. In 2011, he founded Adventure Scientists, a nonprofit organization that deploys outdoor adventurers to collect high quality scientific data that can amplify and accelerate solutions to environmental and human health issues. Gregg has been named a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader, a Grist 50 Fixer, and one of Men’s Journal’s “50 Most Adventurous Men,” among other accolades.
