We are kicking off Season 2 with a 5X founder who has a huge passion for tech, audio, streaming and podcasting. You may know him if you are a podcaster, because you are probably using one of his businesses to host your podcast, find guests and produce your episodes.

I had the pleasure to talk with James Mulvany from Podcast.co, Radio.co, Cue and Matchmaker.fm and ask him how he is running 4 different brands simultaneously. From learning more about his team and his business model to his monetization strategy, the importance of focussing on building a community and providing an excellent customer service. James' Tips for all startups and budding entrepreneurs/podcasters:

Focus on customer support and having happy customers as they will help and support you when times get tough
Run a LTD for existing customers to help with extra funding so you can build a better product and grow a community of crowdfunders
Either identify an audience that has a problem or find a demand for something
Create a platform that is private but that can be viewed by the public - wet their appetite.
